studio MORMOR is a project between myself, Megan Barrett, and fellow-Long Beach-based designer, Lindsay McGee.
Sharing Scandinavian lineage from both our maternal Grandmothers, we explore our backgrounds in design and art through original collections created from textiles, found objects, and beyond. Inspired by Scandinavian folk art and mid-century design, you’ll also see hints of influence from Japanese design, post-modernism, art nouveau, and most matter of mediums.
